Having grown up in Melbourne, James moved to North Queensland where he completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at James Cook University in 2017. Since then he has trained to become a Rural Generalist GP, obtaining advanced skills in Anaesthetics and Emergency Medicine.

He enjoys the variety that General Practice has to offer, and loves working across the lifespan from paediatrics, to pregnancy care, to chronic disease. He also has an interest in skin cancer medicine and providing anaesthetic care in hospital.

James will move to Bairnsdale with his wife and two daughters in March 2024. They are looking forward to exploring the beautiful Gippsland region and getting involved in the community here.
