Dr Joel van der Meulen
The doctors and staff are pleased to introduce a new doctor to the clinic.
Dr Joel van der Meulen is a General Practitioner and GP Obstetrician, originally from southern NSW and trained in Queensland.
He completed his obstetric training in Gladstone, QLD and has a keen interest in the provision of excellent maternity and women’s health care outside of the big cities.
In addition to maternity care, Joel is able to provide the full spectrum of general practice care, with interests in mental health, skin cancer, paediatrics, and chronic disease management.
He will be a valuable asset to the Obstetric and General Practitioner team at Bairnsdale Medical Group and looks forward to being able to care for families in the Bairnsdale and East Gippsland community.
