Dr Shamini Rathinam

Bairnsdale Medical Group is delighted to welcome Dr Shamini Rathinam to our team.

Dr Shamini has recently commenced with Bairnsdale Medical Group and is undertaking her Fellowship Program with us. Having worked for many years at Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS), she is already a familiar and respected doctor within our local community.

Shamini lives locally with her husband and their beautiful twin children. She loves the East Gippsland lifestyle and enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, exploring nature and discovering the many wonderful walking tracks our region has to offer.

Dr Shamini has a special interest in Mental Health, Paediatrics, Women’s Health and Skin Cancer Medicine, including skin checks. She is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centred care and enjoys building long-term relationships with individuals and families throughout every stage of life.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Dr Shamini join the Bairnsdale Medical Group team, and we know our patients will appreciate her warm, caring nature and dedication to high-quality healthcare.
