Dr David McConville
MBBS FACRRM
Graduated from Monash University with honours in 1986.
He worked at Prince henry’s Hospital in Melbourne, then Royal Darwin Hospital, Royal Hobart Hospital and in Regional Victoria before completing a diploma of Anaesthesia in London.
On Returning to Australia he worked for 4 years with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in the Pilbara, WA before moving to Bairnsdale in 2000.
He enjoys all areas of general practice including skin cancer medicine, chronic disease management, palliative care and has a strong involvement in all the Nursing Homes in Bairnsdale.
He is actively involved in acute medicine at the Bairnsdale Regional Health Service with anaesthetics and inpatient medical care.
He is also committed to teaching. He has been an instructor with Advanced Paediatric Life Support Course for the last 18 years as well as being involved in medical student and GP Registrar training.
He loves the outdoors and plays tennis with enthusiasm but with a sad lack of talent.
